Two Wings of Practice: Mindfulness and CompassioN
If you have already taken a “beginning” Mindfulness class and/or read a couple of books on Mindfulness, and are looking to deepen your understanding and practice of Mindfulness and Compassion, then this is the course for you! Using the combined practices of Mindfulness and Compassion, you will activate two of the most powerful tools known for self-discovery and personal transformation.
Why should I care about
Mindfulness and Compassion?
Mindfulness wakes us up to what is going on right in front of our eyes. It widens our lens on ourselves, our world, and our reality. Over time, our lens can narrow, or get stuck, because of our fears. The tools of Mindfulness and Compassion widen our aperture. Mindfulness shows us where our lens is “stuck”, and Compassion helps us get “unstuck”. By changing the way we relate to our experience, with curiosity and compassion, instead of judgement, we connect to the tools that support us in transforming ourselves directly, and the world indirectly.

Testimonials
I really appreciated her patience, explanations, and the cadence of the whole class – it gave me time to understand and process everything that was being taught. In fact, the whole entire class far exceeded all of my expectations.

This class introduced me to the practice of mindfulness. It has been invaluable to me during a difficult time in my life to be able to center myself and approach my experiences with kindness and compassion. The open heart practice has allowed me to approach both myself and others with so much more kindness and patience, which we all need so much of now. A great course with a great instructor. Such a small investment of time and resources for such an enormous personal pay off.

Ingrid’s mere presence is peaceful, as is her voice. She was a perfect model for what she teaches. When she taught she was totally connected and present. I almost felt that she was teaching directly to me.
